Description: This workshop aims to look at why this is often a difficult topic, why it is important, and how to tackle it as a professional. The end of life is often glanced over or ignored by professionals working with clients, but it has the potential to be a meaningful time for the client and the client’s support system. It also has the potential to enrich the professional and personal outlooks of the professional. 

Objectives:

• To provide understanding about why end of life conversations is frequently avoided. 

• To provide an understanding of the importance of these conversations depending on the needs of clients we serve. 

• To provide ideas and starting points for the conversation.
