This training is an introduction to the unique needs of LGBT older people. It includes:

· A discussion of key terminology;

· Why LGBT older adults may hide their identity;

· How to incorporate LGBT concerns into person-directed care; and

· Information related to support networks and engaging with biological and chosen family members.

Free CEUs will be provided for NASW and NACCM professional designations. This training is provided by PA Link to ADRC with support from the Centre County Council for Human Services Training & Education Committee.
