River Valley Senior Providers Group Community Impact Grants Available

River Valley Senior Providers Group is a non-profit membership organization of individuals and entities that provide services to older adults, adults with disabilities, and their families.

Our mission is to provide a network that supports excellence in services to seniors and individuals with disabilities through education, advocacy, leadership, and accessibility. We are proud to offer Community Impact Grants (up to $1000 for distribution on December 12, 2018) to help our members further our mission within the seven counties we serve.

Who is Eligible to Apply?

Any member in good standing of the River Valley Senior Providers Group. For - Profit or Non - Profit.

Reporting Requirements:

Recipients are required to submit a brief written report to the Board of Directors within one year after the funds have been received. All funds must be spent within one year unless an extension has been requested and approved by the board. Recipients may be asked to present on their project and its community impact at a general meeting of RVSPG.

Deadline:

Completed applications must be received in a .pdf format on or before 5:00 PM EST on November 30, 2018. Completed applications must be emailed to mbottorf2016@gmail.com. Recipients will be announced and recognized at the December Bi – Annual Meeting on December 12 at the Country Cupboard in Lewisburg. Funds will also be distributed at this time. Please keep this timeframe in mind when submitting a grant request.

Describe program, activity or initiative to be funded.
Describe the community need and how this need will be met.

Include an explanation of why funds are not currently available.
